Ludh Congress appoints 6 new spokespersons
Ludhiana: Shortly after another of its prominent councillor bid adieu to the party, district unit of the Congress has started reformation of its urban body, and district president Sanjay Talwar on Sunday appointed six party members as their spokespersons in this regard. The new appointees are Jarnail Singh of Shimlapuri, Manpreet Grewal of Basti Jodhewal, Baljinder Singh Bunty of Kochar Market, Iqbal Singh Dico of Nirankari Mohalla, Rupinder Pal Singh of Dugri, and Gaurav Bhatti of Focal Point. The appointments were approved by Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee president Raja Warring, informed Talwar. Besides acting as official spokespersons, the six members would also ensure new joinings in their respective areas to expand the base of the party. tnn
