Lok Insaaf Party will contest SGPC polls, say Bains brothers

Ludhiana: The

Lok Insaaf Party

led by

Simarjit Singh Bains

and

Balwinder Singh Bains

has said that the outfit would field its canditates for next

Shiromani Gurudwara Prabandhak Committee

(SGPC) elections.

The Bains brothers made this announcement on Saturday in Amritsar during a political rally.

During the rally, both leaders launched a scathing attack on the Shiromani Committee which runs the affairs of SGPC.

Bains brothers also termed SGPC's move to expel 523 employees as illegal.

Speaking to TOI, MLA Simarjit Singh Bains, the younger of the brothers said, “The campaign of expanding base of our party in entire Punjab is going on very aggressively and we are also gearing up to contest the next

SGPC elections

as well. All I can say right now is several prominent 'panth' leaders are in touch with us who are fully supporting us in this mission.”
