Green Land lads win basketball trophy

LUDHIANA: The lads of Green Land Senior Secondary Public School, Jalandhar bypass, added another feather in their cap by bagging the basketball trophy in the Ludhiana Sahodaya Schools Complex Basket Ball Tournament (U-19 boys) held at MGM Public School, Dugri.
The tournament was held from November 23 to November 28. The stunning performance of cagers Akashdeep, Himmat Sahota, Rajesh Ghai, Sahil, Kunal Kapoor, Vipan Rai, Akashdeep Batham, Gaurav Sahota, Jagraj Singh, Tapinder Singh, Kunal Singh and Rishab helped Green Land defeat DPS, Ludhiana, in the finals by 07 points.
Nearly 25 teams from various CBSE schools in Ludhiana played the tournament. Chairman cum director Rajesh Rudhra and principal Baldeep Pandher congratulated the students and coach Ajay Parkash.

Green Land reached the finals by defeating BCM, Chandigarh Road, Ludhiana, by 20 points.
