Final countdown: Ludh students brace for exam day
Ludhiana: Final examinations across govt schools in Ludhiana will begin on Tuesday, with students, teachers and officials spending Monday making last-minute preparations. The atmosphere in schools reflected mixed emotions, with some students expressing nervousness and others feeling confident as they geared up for the annual exams.Education department officials has already issued detailed guidelines to all govt schools in the city to ensure smooth and disciplined conduct of the examinations. Schools were directed to make sure that all necessary facilities were in place, including seating arrangements, availability of stationery, and readiness of examination centres.
School principals and officials said preparations had been completed, exam centres finalised and handed over to authorities concerned. They added that students would now reach their designated centres as per class-wise schedules to appear for the final examinations.A group of students from a govt school said they were experiencing a mix of nervousness and confidence. They added they hoped to perform well and were making best efforts to secure good results.On the first day, Class VIII students will appear for their English examination, while Class XII students will have their Home Science exam. All the examinations will be held from 9:30am to 12:30pm, with the first 15 minutes reserved for reading the question paper.
