Ludhiana: The police have identified three of the five accused who executed a burglary of Rs 25 lakh at a readymade garment shop in Gandhi Nagar market on Tuesday. Their location has also been traced.

Vinod Kumar and
Monu Kumar of
Kila Mohalla
. All of them are labourers.
Assistant commissioner of police, central, Harsimrat Singh said, “Three of the accused have been identified. According to the investigation, they are near Delhi. After executing the theft, the accused did not take the cash along but kept it with their known in Ludhiana. We have reached them and are recovering the money. The accused will be arrested soon.”
A gang of burglars had targeted the wholesale readymade garment showroom early on Tuesday and escaped with about Rs 25 lakh. The CCTVs installed at a nearby store had captured five suspects. As there were no signs of forced entry, it was suspected that one of the accused was already hiding inside the shop. When the store owner and staffers left, the accused with the help of accomplices stole cash and escaped. Store owner
Kapil Arora
said, “While leaving the store, we had turned off the CCTVs installed inside. A
CCTV
of a neighbouring store had captured the accused which helped identify some of them.”
