AIPMT: Preparation blues grip students

With Supreme Court ordering re-conduct of All-India Pre Medical Test (AIPMT) in view of paper leak, students in Ludhiana who appeared for the exam were slightly disappointed as they felt they will have to prepare for the test again and go through anxious moments too.

LUDHIANA: With Supreme Court ordering re-conduct of All-India Pre Medical Test (AIPMT) in view of paper leak, students in Ludhiana who appeared for the exam were slightly disappointed as they felt they will have to prepare for the test again and go through anxious moments too.
However, they saw the positive side of the verdict too. They said at least deserving candidates will secure positions.

Amanjot Kaur, who took the exam, said, "I had prepared hard for AIPMT and had been through so much of anxiety and tension. I fear that I have to go through the same again. Appearing once more in AIPMT is not going to be easy for any candidate."
Another candidate Mankirat Kaur said, "Though I am not too happy to appear in AIPMT again, on the positive side, I feel justice has been done with lakhs of deserving candidates like us."
Tejpreet Singh, who runs an institute which prepares students for competitive exams, said, "With the verdict out, deserving students will get admission in their favorite colleges according to their performances. This judgment has done justice to all students. But on other hand, students are certainly disappointed as they have to prepared again for AIPMT."
He added, "Moreover, several colleges have also released their first list for admission too. Students' money and efforts will certainly go waste. Moreover this will also delay the entire process of admissions and classes.
Student Terry Mattew said, "For two years, I prepared for AIPMT. Studying needs continuity. So starting preparation for AIPMT after a long time will be difficult."
Ripudaman Singh, another candidate, said, "This is going to be beneficial for us. Since we have appeared in AIPMT once, we now have an idea how to attempt and which topics are more important."
