Lucknow: Lauding the performance of Indian sportspersons in the Commonwealth Games, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath hailed the medal winners as an inspiration for India’s youth power. The CM expressed happiness over the victory of women players Nikhat Zareen, Neetu Ghanghas and Amit Panghal who won gold medals in boxing events.
Congratulating Nikhat Zareen, he said she had made country proud by winning gold. When Neetu Ghanghas won gold medal in the boxing competition, the CM described it a “historic moment” and a “moment of pride for the country”. “Today, Mother Shakti has again honoured Bharat Mata with a gold medal,” he said. CM Yogi also congratulated boxer Amit Panghal, who won gold medal in boxing. CM has tweeted that his (Amit) victory will infuse new energy amongst players. Congratulating Aldhaus Paul, the CM said the victory was an example of unmatched enthusiasm.
