Two stab man in hotel, arrested

Lucknow: A 25-year-old man, who came to meet his fiancée at a hotel in Gomtinagar Extension, was attacked with a knife on Saturday. The police arrested the two attackers and sent them to jail. Police said the girl, from Lodhi Bazaar, Khargapur, works at the hotel. On Friday, her fiancé, Apoorv Singh, came to meet her. Later, Akash Verma arrived with his brother, Ritesh. The girl asked Akash to return Rs 500, he owed her. When Apoorv intervened, Akash brought a knife from the kitchen and stabbed him in the stomach. Apoorv was taken to hospital while Akash and Ritesh were arrested and sent to jail. tnn
