The training module of the newly-elected legislators of 18th UP assembly will be inaugurated in the presence of Lok Sabha speaker Om Birla, CM Yogi Adityanath and speaker Satish Mahana on May 20.

The MLAs will undergo a two day training module on May 21 and 22 ahead of the budget session.
LUCKNOW: The training module of the newly-elected legislators of 18th UP assembly will be inaugurated in the presence of Lok Sabha speaker Om Birla, CM Yogi Adityanath and speaker Satish Mahana on May 20. Leader of opposition Akhilesh Yadav will also be present on the occasion, the speaker's office said on Tuesday.The MLAs will undergo a two day training module on May 21 and 22 ahead of the budget session as UP assembly turns into an e-Vidhan Sabha with its proceedings being relayed on social media platforms including YouTube and Facebook. A mobile application of Vidhan Sabha is also scheduled to be launched.On the inauguration day, the legislators will be addressed by former speaker Hriday Narain Dixit, parliamentary affairs minister Suresh Khanna, former leader of opposition Ram Govind Chaudhary and former UP BJP chief Laxmikant Bajpai. On May 21, governor Anandi Ben Patel and CM Yogi will address the MLAs, after which experts from the National Informatic Centre (NIC) will train the law makers after the nuances of e-Vidhan Sabha. The MLAs will be told about the paperless functioning of UP Vidhan Sabha, inarguably the largest in the country.
