Lucknow: Over one lakh people will witness the inauguration of the Ganga Expressway, when
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will dedicate Uttar Pradesh’s longest expressway to the public on April 29 at Bilgram in Hardoi district.
For the smooth conduct of the event, chief executive officer of the Uttar Pradesh Expressways Industrial Development Authority (UPEIDA),
Deepak Kumar, carried out an inspection of the 594-km-long Ganga Expressway on Sunday. The crucial infrastructure project is expected to substantially reduce commute time between the National Capital Region (NCR) and eastern Uttar Pradesh.

The prime minister is slated to inaugurate the stretch along with Chief Minister
Yogi Adityanath and other dignitaries. As a large turnout is expected, Kumar, who is also the infrastructure and industrial development commissioner (IIDC), sought details of the arrangements being made at the site.
A large stage along with a holding area will be created in Bilgram near the venue of the ceremony.
The local administration, along with senior officials from the UPEIDA, is earmarking spaces for the event, including parking, as a large number of vehicles are expected to arrive in Hardoi a day in advance.
