UP Rowing Assn honourssportspersons, administrators

Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Rowing Association organised a programme at the Boat Club, Nishatganj, to celebrate Azadi Ka Amrit Utsav. A boat was beautified with tricolour to mark the occasion. On this occasion, sportspersons who have made remarkable contributions in the promotion of sports in the state were honoured with the Uttar Pradesh Gaurav Puraskar.
Chief guest Pawan Singh Chauhan (MLC) and special guest, IPS officer N Padmaja Chauhan, honoured various sports administrators and personalities.
Those honoured on the occasion included general secretary, Uttar Pradesh Olympic Association, Anandeshwar Pandey, director, sports, RP Singh, UPOA treasurer Manish Kakkar, deputy SP Jatashankar Mishra (Olympian athlete), ID Sharma, Alok Soti, Harish Sharma, advocate Paritosh Sharma, advocate Rakesh Shukla and deputy SP DK Dhawan.tnn
