LUCKNOW: UP BJP came down heavily onthe state government for protecting education mafia and its activities duringthe ongoing board examinations.
In a release issued on Saturday, party spokesperson Dr
Manoj Mishra demanded to know as to why a record number of over 8 lakh students left the exams mid way. "This development calls for some serious rethink and the government must launch an enquiry to get to the bottom of the mystery," he said.
The party spokesperson also shifted theblame for wide scale copying to the officials of the higher secondary board andtheir education directorate. The Maya government has been following the moneymaking agenda relentlessly since the very beginning and this is the reason it isforced to turn a blind eye to the nefarious activities around, healleged.
"This is also the reason why the education department has not been able to check the copy mafia. Education sector is one of the most lucrative field for the
BSP, therefore no action is expected against the culprits," he said.
The party, Mishra said demands a probe into thecharges of mass copying and also stringent action against the guilty includingincompetent officials of the UP Board.
