Two Maoists shot in Sonebhadra

<div class="section1"><div class="Normal">VARANASI: Two Maoists were gunned down in an encounter with Sonebhadra police in Mahuli village on Wednesday afternoon.<br />According to reports, the Maoists were holding a meeting in Mahuli village under Bijpur police station. On getting information, a team from Babhani, Bijpur and Shaktinagar station stations cordoned of the village and an exchange of fire ensued.<br />The firing continued for about two hours.Later, the police recovered twobodies of Maoists. One of them was identified as Maheshwar of Chapaki village under Duddhi police station. The SP Sonebhadra, Navin Arora and other senior officials reached the incident site.<br /><span style="" font-weight:="" bold="">Tibetan student dead:</span> A Tibetan, Tenzing Sonam (20), the student of the Central Institute of Higher Tibetan Studies, Sarnath, was found dead in his room in the hostel on Tuesday. It was stated that he had fallen from stairs three days back and sustained injury on his head. </div> </div>
