Toll plaza staff misbehaves with BJP MLA in UP

LUCKNOW: A BJP MLA from Hata in Uttar Pradesh was allegedly misbehaved with by a toll plaza staff on Tumsura road on NH-19. Despite giving his introduction at the toll plaza that provides free passage for legislators' vehicles, the staffer allegedly told him, "Have seen many MLAs like you; pay the toll amount, else you won't be allowed to go."
BJP MLA Jatashankar Tripathi immediately called the local police station to complain against the misbehaviour but he did not get any help.

Sadar police station inspector Devendra Singh said he received a call on Monday at 12am and the caller told him that he was MLA Jatashankar from Hata. "The man alleged that toll staff were misbehaving with him," he said.
The MLA claimed that Tumsura toll plaza is free for MLAs but toll was taken from him forcibly.
A case has been registered and police has started the investigation. IO Jitendra Kumar said CCTV footage shows how MLA's vehicle was stopped and he was asked for toll.
