Three doctors sacked for being absent for a prolonged period

Lucknow: The Uttar Pradesh government on Friday terminated services of three doctors for allegedly being absent for a long time.
Health department officials said that several attempts were made to contact them, but when they did not respond, their services were terminated. Two doctors are from Gonda district and one from Aligarh. The announcement of their service termination was made by deputy chief minister Brajesh Pathak.
He said Dr Priyansh Sharma from Aligarh and Dr Muzammil Hussain and Dr Preeti Gupta from Gonda were posted as medical officers and were absent from government duty for a long time. Several times officials tried to contact, but they didn't respond. So, they were terminated from services.
Pathak further said if any person is found violating the government service rules, strict action will be taken against him. Indiscipline will not be tolerated under any circumstances, he added.
