‘Single digit scores, marked absent’: LU students victim of technical glitch on results portal
Lucknow: The students of Lucknow University have been hit by a massive technical glitch on university’s online, Samarth portal.The first year results of MA examinations declared in the second week of April shows incorrect marks of the students, with many getting single digit scores, and many being marked absent despite appearing in the examinations.Meghna Sharma, student from the philosophy department, “I attempted all questions and was confident of scoring above 45 out of 70, but the portal is showing just eight marks.”A student of ancient Indian history, Aditya Verma said that he appeared in all the exams but the result shows him absent in one of the papers, affecting his overall result.Neha Yadav, a Hindi dept student said that the portal shows her theory marks lower than the actual. “Many classmates are facing the same issue, indicating a possible portal error,” she said.LU spokesperson Mukul Srivastava, said, “The matter has come to our notice. Students can visit the Controller of Examination office, where necessary corrections in marks are being carried out.”
