Shaukat Ali is AIMIM UP unit chief

LUCKNOW: In the run to UP assembly elections, All India Majlis-e-Ittehad-ul-Muslimeen (AIMIM) on Thursday appointed the executive committee of its state wing.

While the party's UP convenor

Shaukat Ali

has been appointed the state president, while

Sayyad Rafat Zubair Rizvi

has been named as the general secretary.

The lone woman member of the executive committee,

Asma Alam

, has been appointed joint secretary of the state unit while

Mohammed Aslam Ansari

will be the treasurer.
