SEC revises panchayat voter list schedule

Lucknow: The Uttar Pradesh State Election Commission (SEC) has issued a revised order regarding the preparation of voter lists for the upcoming three-tier panchayat elections.The revised timetable approved by state election commissioner Raj Pratap Singh, directed officials to complete work related to the de-duplication and computerization of voters from May 21-28.This will be followed by activities at booth and ward levels, including verification of polling areas, marking voters, updating forms, downloading voter lists, and maintaining photo records from May 29- June 9.The final publication of the updated voter list is scheduled for June 10.
