Public support swells for Aashiana victim

LUCKNOW: People, especially girls, on Sunday gave overwhelming support to the ongoing signature campaign, which aims to draw public support and raise funds for the Aashiana gang-rape victim's legal battle. On Sunday, more than 1,000 persons extended support to the victim in the signature campaign at Aminabad market.
Garima Singh, a college student said, "The cases of sexual harassment have almost become a routine affair.We all are with the victim and we will continue to fight until justice is ensured."
The campaign has been started by All India Democratic Women's Association (AIDWA) in association with Student Federation of India (SFI) and Democratic Youth Federation of India (DYFI).
