Ram Naik

on Monday praised the UP government for controlling Covid-19 under the leadership of CM Yogi Adityanath.

Naik

said that with Yogi at the helm, UP will also control the Omicron variant.

Yogi termed Naik as a visionary parliamentarian and governor. He said that it was Ram Naik who had suggested renaming Bombay as Mumbai and Allahabad as Prayagraj. He had also suggested celebrating UP Diwas on January 24.

On the occasion, Yogi Adityanath unveiled books having a compilation of speeches delivered by him and four former CMs — Rajnath Singh, Kalyan Singh,

Ram Prakash Gupta

and Chaudhary Charan Singh — in the UP Assembly.

A book, Karmyoddha Ram Naik, based on former UP governor Ram Naik was also released on the occasion.

Assembly Speaker Hriday Narayan Dikshit said that a word in Indian literary consciousness is equated as ‘Brahm’. He praised the CM for giving importance to Sanskrit language.
