Lucknow: Raising a debate on the issues "nationalism" and "anti-nationalism" among youngsters, cultural organisations Dastak and Milan-Be The Change Foundation culminated their programme 'Samjho Toh Express' on Wednesday.

The initiative to break free from stereotypes and widely held prejudices had earlier organised two workshops with as many as 400 students in the city and a wall painting exercise depicting the same issue. On Wednesday, the programme was brought to an end with "Manzil" where students spoke their minds.

"We opened the house to let students voice their concerns and talk freely about the prejudices they have been holding on to all these years," said Veena Rana from Milan. Raj from Dastak said that students had unanimously agreed there needs to be a change and it should begin at the individual level with communication.

A documentary by Nirmal Chander, 'Dreaming Taj Mahal', about a Pakistani cab driver's dream to visit the Taj Maha was also screened.
