Man duped of ₹11 lakh for job in excise dept

Lucknow: A man has been duped of Rs 11 lakh on the pretext of job in excise department.
The victim, identified as Kaushal Yadav, a native of Farrukhabad, met one Vinod Samrat of Vipul Khand area through a common friend. Samrat told the victim that his friend is an IAS officer who can help him in getting a job in the excise department.
Station house officer (SHO), Indiranagar, Chatrapal Singh said that an FIR has been lodged and a probe is on in the case.
