Madhumita case accused produced in court

LUCKNOW: Accused Rohit Chaturvedi allegedly involved in the Madhumita murder case, who was in police custody, was produced in the court of special CBI magistrate Ram Murti Yadav on Wednesday and sent to Bara Banki jail under judicial custody till November 21.

LUCKNOW: Accused Rohit Chaturvedi allegedly involved in the Madhumita murder case, who was in police custody, was produced in the court of special CBI magistrate Ram Murti Yadav on Wednesday and sent to Bara Banki jail under judicial custody till November 21.
The counsel for the accused moved an application before the CBI magistrate against the CBI, alleging that the CBI had violated terms imposed by the magistrate by not disclosing his day to day whereabouts before his counsel properly and that he was badly assaulted by the CBI on several occasions.

According to the counsel, after November 9-18 no certificate about accused''s whereabouts were given to the counsel and so he could not accompany theaccused during interrogation by the CBI. The special judicial magistrate CBI has also fixed the date of hearing, November 21, on the bail application of accused Yagya Narain Dixit, the then station officer police station Manaknagar, arrested by the CBI in connection with the Madhumita murder case.
