Lucknow: 25 more in dengue grip; maximum cases from hotspots

LUCKNOW: Patients from dengue hotspots continued to approach city hospitals on Friday as 25 more persons tested positive for the disease in the last 24 hours.
New patients were reported from the hotspots like Aliganj, Indiranagar, NK road, Chinhat, Silver Jubilee, Gosainganj, Gudamba, Sarojininagar and Mahanagar.
While the team of health officials and workers conducted anti-larval spraying and fogging in these areas, 4,035 homes were inspected for mosquito-bearing conditions on Friday, according to official data.
Of these, owners of 11 houses were issued notices for having stagnant water in and around their homes. These areas included Rajajipuram, Balaganj, New Haiderganj, Indiranagar, Ismailganj, Triveninagar, and Faizullahganj.
