Khalsa Sajna Diwas celebrated

Lucknow: The first day of the two-day religious diwan dedicated to Khalsa Sajna Diwas at Gurdwara Sadar was filled with devotion and spiritual atmosphere on Saturday. The evening began with the recitation of Rehras Sahib followed by ‘katha’ by the priest, highlighting the history of Khalsa Panth and the role of the ‘Panj Pyare’.Devotional kirtan was performed by the priest from the Golden Temple, Amritsar. After the diwan, a community feast (langar) was served to devotees.The second day at the Gurdwara will see medical camps, competitions for children and health check-up facilities for the devotees.
