KGMU lodges plaint against doctor’s aide
Lucknow: King George’s Medical University (KGMU) on Friday lodged a complaint at Chowk police station against a man alleged to be an associate of suspended ophthalmology faculty member Prof Sanjiv Gupta on charges of directing patients to a private medical store.
Prof Gupta was suspended on Thursday by vice-chancellor over allegations of prescribing lenses and medicines from the shop outside the campus instead of subsidised shops in the hospital.
The complaint also includes charges of unauthorised entry into the doctor’s chamber, Singh added.
