Imam of Eidgah leads prayer for peace, justice for terror victims

Lucknow: Chairman of Islamic Centre of India and Imam of Eidgah Lucknow, Maulana Khalid Rasheed Farangi Mahli, strongly condemned and expressed deep sorrow over terrorist attack in Pahalgam. He emphasised that killing of innocent individuals contradicted Islamic principles and stressed Islam opposed all forms of terrorism.
A prayer meet was organised at Darul Uloom Farangi Mahal Idgah Lucknow, where attendees expressed solidarity with bereaved families of the Pahalgam terrorist attack victims and prayed for swift recovery of those injured. The gathering included students and teachers.
Maulana Khalid Rasheed urged govt to apprehend swiftly those responsible for the incident and ensure they received severe punishment. He appealed to Kashmir residents to maintain peace while ensuring the protection of tourists.
