Lucknow: Chairperson of HCL Technologies, Roshni Nadar, met chief minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday to discuss plans to launch a series of educational and environmental programmes in Uttar Pradesh.
The series, aimed at increasing awareness of people, will be launched by HCL Group, Shiv Nadar Foundation and the Habitat Trust.
HCL Group started operations in Noida in 1976 and in Lucknow in 2016, and has held several events like Samuday, Uday and Clean Noida touching 26 lakh people in rural and urban areas.
The group started Vidyagyan initiative in 2009 which benefited over 2,500 underprivileged meritorious students. The group started Shiv Nadar University in 2011 and Shiv Nadar School in 2012 to provide quality education to students.
Started in 2018, the Habitat Trust is working for environmental conservation in Dudhwa and Pilibhit.
