Flooded roads halt traffic, commuters hit

LUCKNOW: Heavy waterlogging was reported in several key areas on Monday. Many people couldn't even go to hospitals or got late, while office-goers also faced issues and had to take alternative routes due to waterlogging. Hazratganj, Gomtinagar, Kaiserbagh, Charbagh and several other parts of the city experienced traffic jams.

'I got stuck on a waterlogged road near Ambedkar Park and I arrived late at the hospital,' said Prashant Kumar, a staff member at a private hospital on Shaheed Path. Misrilal, a resident of Ramnagar in Barabanki, came with his son for treatment at KGMU but couldn't find transportation to reach the hospital on time. As a result, he was unable to meet the doctor for his health check-up since the OPD time was over.
