Experts discuss sustainable development

Lucknow: A special lecture was organised by the Lucknow University’s Happy Thinking Laboratory to discuss on the topic of climate imbalance and sustainable living on Monday.
Fromer additional chief secretary Anita Bhatnagar Jain spoke on the importance of glaciers and its impact on climate change.
She emphasised on water conversation and green house effect. Advocating for judicial utilisation of natural resources, she presented some slideshows and a short film for students.
Former vice-chancellor of Dr Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh University, Prof Manoj Dixit, presided over the event while director, Happy Thinking Laboratory, Prof Matrayi Priyadarshini welcomed the guests.
Prof Manoj Dixit shared his views on climate change and sustainable development. Director, counselling and guidance cell Dr Vaishali Saxena briefed the audience about the theme.
The discussion was followed by a question and answer session.
Prof M Priyadarshini motivated students to save water and make judicial usage of natural resources. Prof Madhurima Pradhan, Prof Nazneen, Vineet David, Abhishek Jaiswal, Ruchi, and Paridhi were present at the programme.
