Day of competitive fun for kids at zoo

Lucknow: Face painting and ‘best out of the waste model' contests were organised under the ongoing Wildlife Week 2024 at Nawab Wajid Ali Shah Zoological Park on Saturday. Based on themes like wildlife and environment, about 550 students from 31 different schools participated in the contests.
In primary section of face painting contest, Riddhima Gupta and Agrima Ruhela from La Martinere Girls College won first prize, while in middle section, Vikram Rai and Shrishti Gupta from Bal Vidya Mandir Senior Secondary School bagged first position.Shifa and Aradhna from Modern Academy, Gomtinagar came first in the senior section.
In best out of waste model competition, Priyanka Yadav from TD GIrls Inter College won first position in junior section and Naman Tiwari from Red Rose Senior Secondary School bagged first prize.
Zoo director of Aditi Sharma encouraged participants by sharing interesting facts related to environment and wildlife.
