LUCKNOW: A CJM court on Friday sent the accused in the 1090 crossing murder case to a juvenile court after he claimed he was 17 years old. The court also asked the police to get a medical test conducted on him to ascertain his age.
The accused, Kalam, was arrested on Thursday for the murder of 10-year-old Hrithik. Police had claimed he was 18 years old. Kalam is now in 14-day judicial custody.

Police said no certificates were found to determine his age.
Meanwhile, social worker Priya Saxena met SHO Hazratganj and demanded "fair probe". She said Kalam had himself gone to the police station on her insistence to give his statement.
"I have no contention against the police but the manner of arrest without proper evidence against Kalam bothers me," said Saxena. SHO Hazratganj Anand Shahi said that if anyone had proof of Kalam's innocence, they should send it to the police.
