Coronavirus scare: UPSRTC stops operation till March 25

LUCKNOW: Monday onwards no roadways buses would operate in Uttar Pradesh till March 25.
As a follow up measure to combat the spread of coronavirus effectively and acting on the direction of the state government, UPSRTC has stopped bus services completely till March 25 with immediate effect.

MD, UPSRTC, Raj Shekhar, said, "We will operate buses only when district administration sends us the demand in writing owing to some emergency or law and order related situation in the district concerned, in these three days."
Buses which are enroute or will leave on Tuesday early morning to reach destination by Tuesday afternoon will be allowed to complete the journey.
