A case of murder and destruction of evidence has been registered in Bakshi-Ka-Talab police station.

LUCKNOW: The body of a woman, aged around 32 years, was found wrapped in a bedsheet and thrown in a field by a villager in Bakshi-Ka-Talab area on Monday. It appears to be a case of murder though no visible cut marks were found on the body. The body was carried to the field by the murderer and disposed off there. It has not been identified as yet.
According to the police, one Dwarika, resident of Bhaisamau in Bakshi-Ka-Talab, was going to his farm on Monday when he saw something wrapped in a bedsheet belonging to one, Virendra Kumar Shukla.

When he went near and opened the knots, he was shocked to see the body of a woman. Dwarka informed the others passing by and then called the police.
The woman was wearing a skirt - black and with checks - and a black top. There were no visible marks of any cut on the body. She could have been strangulated, the cops said. It was clear that she had been murdered and her body was dumped here. There were no papers or any other item near the body which could help identify it.
