LUCKNOW: A carol singing service 'On this Holy Night' was organized at La Martiniere Girls' College on Saturday.
The lush green campus of the school was brightened up with colourful lights. Cutouts of Christmas characters like the reindeers and Santa Claus were major attractions.
Several former students, teachers and students participated in the event.
Recalling her school days, Dr Garima Mehrotra, an alumnus of 1995 batch, said "I was a part of the school choir for six years. Even after leaving the school, I never missed any carol service till date. Meeting my teachers and spending some quality time reminiscing the memories is what I always look forward to."
Shiva Singh of 1998 batch said, "Every nook and corner of the school brings back the good old memories. A lot has changed but the Christmas warmth still remains the same."
Rashi Mehrotra, who was busy making videos of her daughter's performance at the choir, said, "I was quite amazed to watch my daughter sing with the other kids."
