Ayodhya’s Ramkatha Park set to get modern tourist guest house
Lucknow: Ramkatha Park in Ayodhya is set to get a modern tourist guest house with 34 rooms, a move aimed at strengthening stay facilities for the rising number of pilgrims visiting the temple town. Officials said the new tourist accommodation has been planned to ensure that every devotee is welcomed in the spirit of "Atithi Devo Bhava."
Officials informed that the upcoming facility will be a G+3 building designed to enhance tourism infrastructure within Ramkatha Park. The total estimated cost of the project is Rs 24.21 crore.The construction is being supervised by UP Projects Corporation Limited, Construction Unit-11, Ayodhya, while the execution under the PPE system has been assigned to a private company.Linking the project to the broader development push in the city, officials informed that the number of visitors has increased significantly after the consecration ceremony at the Ram Temple. They said the expansion of accommodation facilities had become necessary to meet the growing demand, particularly for middle-class pilgrims seeking affordable and comfortable stay options. Project manager Manoj Kumar Sharma of UP Projects Corporation Limited said that once operational, visitors staying at Ramkatha Park will be able to conveniently visit the Ram Temple, Saryu ghats and other nearby sites. Officials further said the guest house will be equipped with modern amenities, including 34 rooms, a kitchen, restaurant, lift, air-conditioned rooms, reception lobby, attached bathrooms, Wi-Fi connectivity and security systems.
