ADO arrested for accepting bribe in Ghazipur
Lucknow: The Vigilance Establishment on Friday arrested Kaushal Kishore Singh, assistant development officer (Panchayat) of Mardah Block, Ghazipur district. He was caught red-handed accepting a bribe of Rs 5,000 for issuing a birth certificate of complainant Pappu Paswan's nephew, Suraj Kumar.Pappu Paswan lodged a complaint regarding this matter at the office of the superintendent of police, Uttar Pradesh Vigilance Establishment, Varanasi Sector, Varanasi.Following an investigation the allegations were confirmed and subsequently, Kaushal Kishore Singh was arrested.A case has been registered against him under relevant sections at the Uttar Pradesh Vigilance Establishment, Varanasi Sector.
