Akhil Infra beat YCC by 62 runs

Lucknow: The Man of the Match Naman Singh’s 74 and Ajit Verma’s 60 enabled Akhil Infra Cricket Club to defeat the Youth Cricket Club by 62 runs in the G20 BBD Senior Division Cricket league played at Chowk stadium here on Monday.
The Akhil Infra Cricket Club won the toss and decided to bat first. The team scored 214 runs in the rain-curtailed 29 overs match.
Openers of the Akhil Infra Naman and Ajit made 127 runs in the first wicket partnership.Naman’s 74 came in 78 balls with the help of seven boundaries and four six. Ajit scored 60 runs off 50 balls with the help of nine boundaries. Mohd Saif and Ankur Chauhan contributed 31 and 12 runs respectively.
For the Youth Club Shivam Jaiswal took four wickets, while Ujjawal Gupta and Shaurya Bind took three and two wickets respectively.
In reply, the Youth Club could score only 152 runs for seven wickets in the stipulated overs. Vinayak Nigam scored 45 runs off 56 balls. Shaurya Bind made 26 runs and he remained not out.
For Akhil Infra Sandeep Yadav and Abhinav Dixit took two wickets each and Navneet Yadav, Utkarsh Seth and Mohd Saif took one wicket each.Tnn
