Lucknow: A day before chief minister Akhilesh Yadav launches his

Vikas Rath Yatra

on November 3, the Bharatiya Janata Party has almost readied its four 'raths' and five modified SUVs to go with each for each of the four yatras.

The raths have been parked away from media glare until they are unveiled-most likely on Thursday-near a school owned by a former BJP MLA in

Aliganj

area. Each of the rath yatras will carry common slogans written on buses equipped with hydraulic system that allows the roof to open as and when needed and provides a podium.

A separate VVIP chair, which has a microphone fitted on it has been designed specially for the prominent leader who leads the yatra at a constituency.

The rath carries two big pictures of PM Narendra Modi and BJP national chief Amit Shah and four pictures of Union home minister Rajnath Singh, Union minister for

Ganga

rejuvenation Uma Bharti, Union minister for micro, small and medium enterprises Kalraj Misra and UP BJP chief Keshav Prasad Maurya. Which leaders would be part of the four yatras in the two-month programme is not clear.

Sources in BJP said the final programme of the yatras would be made public through media persons on Thursday. As of now, the yatras would be flagged off by national BJP chief Amit Shah from each of the four places and UP BJP chief Keshav Prasad Maurya would accompany him at all the four places. The fully air-conditioned bus has a toilet and a meeting space for five to six people on board. The bus also has facility of global positioning system and laptop and mobile charging facility on board.

With only three days left before the BJP begins launch of its yatras, the first from Saharanpur on November 5, Jhansi on November 6, Sonebhadra on November 8 and Ballia on November 9. The bus is painted saffron in colour with slogans like 'Poorna bahumat, Sampoorna Vikas, Bhajapa par hai vishwas' and 'Roz hatya aur balatakar, mahila suraksha poori bekar.'
