LUCKNOW: The third accused and only absconding one in the murder of Kaushal Kishore - a handicap betel shop owner of Para under Talkatora police circle on Wednesday also surrendered on Monday. The man identified himself as Sanandan Mishra.
Mishra, son of SI of Unnao was taking shelter in his house in Unnao and as a result of that in a department action against his father for giving Sanandan shelter, knowing that he was a murder accused, has got him suspended.
Talking to TOI, SSP Akhil Kumar said that they would now be taking Sanandan on remand in order to further investigate the matter.
Akhil also said that procedure to book all the accused under the Gangster Act as well as the NSA were also on.
Earlier on Friday, another accused of the crime Monu Mishra also surrendered. According to the cops one of his accomplices in the crime, a constable Rajeev Mishra was arrested after the crime on Wednesday itself and his services were terminated.
The victim identified as Kaushal Kishore alias Annu (25) owned a betel leaves��� kiosk. Kishore was shot dead over a dispute between him and the accused with regards to the payment of betel leaves that the accused had purchased from him.
Rajeev Mishra was arrested for the murder as it was his gun which was used for shooting the man. Kishore, who was also physically handicapped, was found lying on the road with his face down.
