Lucknow: Three students were left injured after an out-of-control school van flipped after colliding with a roadside water tank on Chandrika Devi Temple Road in the BKT area of Lucknow on Monday afternoon.The van, carrying around 18 students of Adarsh Saraswati Junior High School, was on its way to drop children home after school hours when the accident occurred around 2.30 pm. According to eyewitnesses, the vehicle was moving at high speed when the driver suddenly lost control, causing it to ram into a water tank and overturn, triggering panic at the scene.

Hearing the children's screams, locals rushed to the spot and rescued those trapped inside the vehicle before alerting the police. Additional Inspector Kailash Dubey shifted the injured students to a nearby 100-bed hospital using a police vehicle. Doctors said all three were out of danger. Local residents alleged that the van was driven by a minor and was operated negligently. The driver fled the scene immediately after the accident. School principal Vishnu Narayan Dwivedi stated that the van belongs to Guddu, a resident of Indaura Bagh.
