LUCKNOW: Four occupants of an SUV were injured seriously near the Janeshwar park road in Gomtinagar when their speeding car hit the divider, electric poles and trees and overturned late Wednesday night.
According to an eye-witness “the speeding SUV lost control and hit a road divider. By the sheer impact of the crash, the car rolled several times hitting electric poles and trees before coming to a halt.
A young girl was found unconscious on the driver seat, while the rest were unconscious and bleeding. They were rushed immediately to the Sahara Hospital.” The car did not hit any other vehicle on the road or any passerby either.
The car was mangled and the injured persons, three females and the male driver were taken out with great difficulty. The accident caused a jam on the road and was crowded with onlookers. Police towed the car away around two hours after the accident.

Rajiv Rai at the hospital said “out of the four injured, two are in a critical condition—the middle-aged man and the woman.”
According to sources, injured personals supposedly belonged to a builder’s family living on Cantonment road. The injured were identified as Subi
Sohail Ahmed, her daughters Hafiza and Kulsum and the driver Ekrar Ahmed.
