Youth dies while filming reel involving two luxury cars

Kozhikode: A 20-year-old youth died after being hit by a speeding car allegedly while he was filming a video involving two luxury vehicles around 7.30am at Beach Road on Tuesday.
Alwin TK, son of Suresh of Thachileri Thazhekuni House at Kadameri, was filming a video standing in the middle of the road, when one of the two allegedly speeding luxury cars hit him, said sources.
According to eyewitnesses, the two vehicles were coming fast from Varakkal side towards Vellayil.
Though Alwin was immediately rushed to a private hospital, he could not be saved. Vellayil police registered a case under sections 281 and 106 of BNSS for reckless driving and endangering human life, and have taken both vehicles into custody.
Alwin was making a promotional video for a Nellikode-based firm. He had been working in a web designing firm in the Gulf and had returned just two weeks ago. tnn
