Thottathil Raveendran
released the video of the song 'A tribute to
Kerala @60' at a function held at the mayor's chamber here on Monday.
The song sung by 10 singers will be screened at Crown Theatre on November 1 at 8.45am.
This was the outcome of the effort of singers from Kozhikode, Halwa music band and 25 chenda artists.
Speaking to media persons, soon after the video release of the song, singer
Sunil Kumar said the song is on the 60th anniversary of state formation on November 1. Lyrics for the song was written by P K
Gopi
and music is by Rajesh Babu. Around 10 singers, including Chengannur Sreekumar, Sunil Kumar, Nishad, Rupesh, Sindhu Prem Kumar, Mridula Warrier, Shreya Jayadeep, Divya Suraj, Roshni Menon and
Sibella Sadanandan
have sung the song.
