Sukanta leads campaign from RG Kar victim’s assembly segment
Kolkata: Junior Union minister Sukanta Majumdar led Bengal BJP's door-to-door poll campaign on Wednesday, starting with the Panihati assembly constituency, home to the victim of the 2024 RG Kar Medical College rape-murder case."People are welcoming BJP and change is palpable. We have spoken to people in hundreds of households. This assembly has seen its daughter raped and murdered. It will not forgive Trinamool or the sitting MLA here. You will witness change this time," said Majumdar.
Majumdar's Wednesday campaign was part of BJP's efforts to reach three crore households with a letter from Prime Minister Narendra Modi.Key themes of BJP's ‘Sampark Abhiyan' include infiltration and unemployment.
