Mallick, aged 66 and holding the position of state forest minister, was taken to the ED office at the CGO complex in Salt Lake on Monday night after being declared fit and discharged from the hospital. He had been receiving medical treatment following a collapse in court on October 27.

According to an official, the ED's officers have begun questioning the minister to determine his involvement in the alleged scam. They have prepared a set of inquiries based on responses from Mallick's former aides and personal assistant.

Mallick is currently being interrogated by two ED officers, with his responses being meticulously recorded. Additionally, the ED is scrutinizing Mallick's financial status and the directorial roles held by his wife and daughter in three companies during his tenure as the state food and supplies minister from 2011 to 2021.

In my previous posting I tried to expose how a top official of so called education recruitment commission has made a targeted trap.In fact in official procedure on person or group of persons of limited numbers of much lower rank prepared and initiate a document and the document is scrutinized in different stages and ultimately it reaches to the highest authority or approving authority. In majority of cases does not get enough time to go through a lengthy pre- scrutinized documents line by line, because he has to rely on his subordinates. If in typing stage or in draft preparation stage any mistake happens and go getting overlooked by various stages before reaching to approving authority, should it be alleged that the approving authority is corrupted? In Indian Judiciary which law says that? Now there was an allegation that by adding one No. commission recruited one person. It must be commission’s policy and resolution, if they find by increasing one number, as they felt better, they have every right to do that. If someone feels that he has been deprived, he can approach to the commission with documents of evidence like any other departments the mistake must be rectified. If commission ignored his or grievances then he can approach High Court and file a writ petition for justice. Not by political PIL. So without any hesitation it can be said that all the hue and cry are entirely political motivated and for personal gains. In one side BJP, CBI and ED a joint venture company and on the other hand a few lawyers of some other political party are earning lakhs of Rupees by making the unemployed youths danced with hope. I am giving example regarding NTA (National testing agency) what they do you know? They consider the answers from NCERT books are only correct answer though as per aspirants there are hundreds of mistakes in NCERT books. Moreover students of icsce board and regional Boards do not follow the NCERT books. Before appearing the NTA conducted tests like Neet, Jee Main, Jee Advance, the aspirant go through different books. After getting released the Answer sheet, if aspirants challenge any answer with proper evidence, NTA not only ignore totally but also they deduct 5 Numbers (the number of the question) from his total aggregate as per NTA released answer sheet. Regarding worth and worthless who has to decide. An aspirant of reserved category is getting job by securing much less score where as an aspirant scoring much more number, is not getting that job. So it does not suit from Judiciary to cry for worth and worthless.
