ED arrests West Bengal minister Jyotipriya Mallick in alleged ration distribution corruption case

The Enforcement Directorate on Oct 27 arrested sitting WB Minister Jyotripriya Mallik, in connection with an alleged case of corruption in public distribution system. The arrest came a day after the ED conducted searches at Mallick's residence in Salt Lake, on the outskirts of Kolkata. Notably, the minister said he was the "victim of a grave conspiracy."
