Professor gets death threats

RANAGHAT: A professor had been receiving death threats since 28th Janurary, asking him not to take up the principal's position in Ranaghat College.
The professor had lodged a complaint in the Ranaghat police station on February 7.
The victim, Anadi Biswas - a resident of Pairadanga Parbatipur under Ranaghat police station -is ansssociate professor in Dumdum Motijhil College.
The West Bengal College Service Commission had asked him to join as the principal of Ranaghat College.
The professor is yet to receive the appointment letter. The miscreants - who called repeatedly - have threatened to push her out of a train.
