KOLKATA: Three persons from Kolkata, suffering from different mental health issues, will visit the Ukrainian embassy office in Delhi on Thursday, representing a team that has designed and printed logos of the Ukrainian flags and farmers pulling off a Russian tank, on coffee mugs and T-shirts. Their creations will be handed over to the embassy officials. The officials said some of these will be sent to Kyiv to President Zelensky and other government officials.

Under the care of West Bengal Forum for Mental Health (WBFMH), the three,

Abhirup Nag

(15),

Sayandeep Roy

(23) and Subhradeep Das (20) attend classes and various vocational trainings. As part of their rehab classes reading sessions are held on regular basis. In February, the classes had a series of Ukrainian folk tales being read.

“These children are very disturbed by this war and decided to do something. And finally they could design what they wanted to print on the T-shirts and coffee mugs. When we communicated this to the Ukrainian embassy they appreciated the idea and responded immediately,” said

Mahendra Singh

, president, WBFMH.
