Lynching of realtor in West Bengal: 3 held

KOLKATA: Three persons were arrested from

Begumpur

in

Baruipur

in connection with the lynching of a realtor from the city on Friday.

They were accused of raising a false alarm and inciting locals against realtor Avik Mukherjee, who had apparently halted there to relieve himself. He was caught by the villagers, who accused him of trying to lift their cattle, tied to a lamppost and lynched.
